Faith, leadership, and doing business the right way in the Chattahoochee Valley

Running an electrical company is a lot more than wiring. It is scheduling crews, training apprentices, keeping promises on job sites, and making hard calls when nobody is watching.

That is a lot to carry alone. So our leadership doesn't.

Abel Electric Inc & Groups is a member of C12, a national organization for Christian business owners and leaders. Our owner, Josh, is part of C12, along with John Mac, Ryan, and Donnie from our leadership team.

What Is C12?

C12 started in 1992 with a small group of Christian CEOs in Florida. Today it brings together thousands of business leaders across the country.

Members meet every month in small peer groups with leaders from other companies. Each group is led by a C12 Chair who also coaches members one on one. Together they work through the real stuff of running a business: growth, money, company culture, and day-to-day operations.

The big idea behind C12 is "Business as a Ministry." In other words, a company can be run with excellence and still serve a bigger purpose.

How Abel Takes Part

Josh meets with a group of other business owners. John Mac, Ryan, and Donnie meet in C12's Key Players program with leaders from other companies who hold similar roles.

Abel has been part of C12 for years. It is not a one-time seminar. It is a monthly habit of sitting down with other leaders, being honest about what is working and what is not, and getting challenged to do better.

Why It Fits Who We Are

Our mission at Abel is simple: "To make disciplined followers of Jesus Christ."

That mission shows up in how we start the day, with a morning devotion in the warehouse before the trucks roll out. It shows up in Abel Ministries and in our community serve days. And it shows up in how our leaders lead.

C12 helps our leadership keep both sides in view: running a strong, well-managed electrical company and treating people the way Christ would. Over the years, it has made us better leaders.

What It Means for Our Customers

When you call Abel for a panel upgrade in Phenix City, a commercial buildout in Columbus, or a ceiling fan in Auburn, you probably aren't thinking about leadership groups. You want the job done right.

That is the point. Strong leadership turns into a crew that shows up prepared, communicates clearly, and stands behind its work. It means honest answers, even when the honest answer is "you don't need that."

What It Means for Our Crew

Good leaders build good teams. Every electrician, apprentice, and technician at Abel benefits from leaders who are being coached and held accountable themselves.

If you are looking for a career in the electrical trade with a company that takes faith and leadership seriously, see our open positions.
